British Grand Prix | 5th - 7th July | Sky Sports F1

The last race of the thrilling first triple-header of the season, the iconic Silverstone circuit will play host to what is sure to be an exciting British Grand Prix.

With five different race winners so far this season and an enthralling championship battle on our hands, this race will no doubt be a must-watch.

Hungarian Grand Prix | 19th - 21st July | Sky Sports F1

Last year’s Hungarian Grand Prix was quite possibly the most boring race of the season, but that is sure to not be the case this time around.

With four teams seemingly very close in performance and the Hungaroring prone to deliver thrilling races, expect a barnstormer this year.

Belgian Grand Prix | 26th - 28th July | Sky Sports F1

The last race before the summer break, the Belgian Grand Prix at the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps is always a fan-favourite.

Should the weather stay nice (looking at you, 2021 Belgian GP), the nature of the track is sure to produce an exciting race that you won’t want to miss.

The squad for the first two matches has been set, most notably with Chris Woakes returning to the squad as Ben Foakes and Jonny Bairstow are dropped.

It will be a rather poignant series though as it will feature the last match of James Anderson’s stellar international career. His side will be hoping for a positive result in that game as well as the series, not just for him but to get the squad going again ahead of the summer schedule.

  • 1st Test: 10th-14th July, Lord’s Cricket Ground
  • 2nd Test: 18th-22nd July, Trent Bridge
  • 3rd Test: 26th-30th July, Edgbaston

Genesis Scottish Open | 11th - 14th July | Sky Sports Golf

The leadup to the Open Championship will see many PGA Tour players compete in the European Tour’s Genesis Scottish Open, a high-level event which takes place at Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland.

Reigning champion Rory McIlroy will be looking to retain his title but will face stern opposition from other top players and major winners alike, such as Xander Schuaffele, Jordan Spieth, Matt Fitzpatrick and Ludvig Aberg.

Amundi Evian Championship | 11th - 14th July | Sky Sports Golf & Mix

On the same weekend but at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France, the ladies of the LPGA Tour will be competing for the fourth major championship of the season in the Amundi Evian Championship.

There have been three different major winners so far this season, will it be four from four with this one too?

The Open Championship | 18th - 21st July | Sky Sports Golf & Main Event

Arguably the most prestigious golf major on the calendar, the Open Championship is set to take place once again at Royal Troon Golf Club in Troon, Scotland.

While not quite on par with the legendary Old Course at St. Andrews, Royal Troon’s own Old Course does provide a challenge, so expect to see the very best from the field during this year’s competition.

Tennis on Sky Sports

Wimbledon, the oldest tennis competition in the world, has begun today, but as usual, it will not be shown on Sky Sports.

Following Wimbledon, July will not feature many high-level events in the ATP or WTA Tour calendars, most likely due in part to the Olympics, which will begin later this month and will act as essentially the fifth Grand Slam of the year.
