Margot Robbie & Ryan Gosling to team up again for Ocean's 11 prequel
The Barbie stars are set to team up again.
Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie will be teaming up for their first project together again after the summer blockbuster Barbie, this time in the Ocean's 11 prequel.
Josey McNamara, who will produce the prequel and worked with the pair on Barbie, has promised that the two stars "will do right by the franchise."
Robbie and Gosling's involvement in the film isn't exactly new - Robbie's name was first attached to the project in May 2022, while Gosling's involvement surfaced a couple of months later in August of that year.
However, after starring together in Barbie, which has now grossed over $1.4billion at the worldwide box office, and showing their on-screen chemistry with one another, it's no surprise that they will be attached to more projects together in the future.
Speaking to GamesRadar at the BFI London Film Festival, McNamara said of the pair that they "are wonderful together. The more projects, even outside of that, we can have them do would be amazing."
There are no solid details as of yet on the Ocean's 11 prequel plot; however, it is said that the story will take place in 1960s Europe.
It will be helmed by Robbie's production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, and isn't likely to be coming to cinemas until late 2024 at the minimum.
